ICANN (the group who decides what domain extensions are available) just unanimously voted to allow trademark holders to register their brands as generic top-level domain names. For example, Google could apply for ‘.google’ and start selling domain names accordingly (“ardell.google”). This goes for any trademark holder: .nike .coke .dell .fox .lttg Can you imagine [...] The U.S. Supreme Court finally did something right: they declared Washington DC's handgun ban as unconstitutional. This is a HUGE win for us pro-freedom folks. In case you haven't been following the case, here's a brief summary: Washington DC banned all handguns within city limits claiming that the Second Amendment right to "bear arms" [...] In just one short week we will be heading off to South America! We had originally planned to be there in June, but moved our trip to July because Pastor P. in Paraguay had finals in June. Our new trip dates and some prayer requests are below — your prayers are certainly needed for [...] Following up on yesterday’s post, I located Obama’s speech and read it. I also listened to Dobson’s program where the talks about Obama’s speech (Thanks Philip for find that for me!). The end result: I think Dobson is missing the mark on this one. Here are my thoughts (feel free to post comments [...] I'm speechless. (but not type-less as this post shows) An Italian architect has designed a skyscraper where all 80 floors turn and spin. That's right – each floor turns 360 degrees independent of each other!!! This means the building will NEVER be in the same shape more then once in a lifetime!!
But [...] I found this picture on the BBC and just had to share it with everyone! I just love the way the Photographer captured the city of Hong Kong behind the waves with the light and dark clouds. It looks almost unreal… Waves lash the waterfront overlooking Victoria Harbour as Typhoon [...] It didn’t take long for Dr. James Dobson of Focus on the Family to lash out at Barack Obama. I wonder why I’m surprised… Dobson came out with a program today claiming that Obama is distorting the Bible and Christian traditions. The funny thing is that Dobson’s program is based on a June [...] The Pew Forum just released their survey of the U.S. Religious Landscape today. It is a huge survey with over 35,000 Americans participating in the survey. The results are quite interesting… A majority of those who are affiliated with a religion, for instance, do not believe their religion is the only way to salvation. [...] For the last few years, the Lord has been helping me develop a cross-cultural adaptation class for the short term mission trips in our church. It has been an awesome journey as I’ve worked with some talented people in developing the material and schedule. At the same time, it has also been hard work [...] Out of curiosity, I Googled my name to see what was out there in cyber space.
